Bartlett Woods, located in the exciting coastal town of Rockland, is an intimate retirement community offering both cottage-style homes with a single floor design and roomy one and two bedroom apartment units. Making no attempt to be a self-contained retirement community, Bartlett Woods is very much a part of the greater Rockland community. The campus is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, which, for some of our residents is within walking distance of downtown with its harbor, shops, galleries and the Farnsworth Art Museum. Scheduled transportation is available for residents whose mobility is more limited. Bartlett House, our main building, has 34 one and two bedroom apartment units. Each apartment has a full kitchen, a living and dining area and a balcony. The apartments are rental units. The rent includes two meals a day, housekeeping, emergency call system, exercise, activities and wellness programs, scheduled transportation and access to the library and computer center. Assisted living services are available in any unit. Pets are welcome!

The cottages in Bartlett Court are available for purchase as cooperative units. Each cottage has two bedrooms, one and a half baths, a deck, a sunroom and an attached garage. Cottage owners have access to all of the amenities in Bartlett House. Bartlett Woods is affiliated with Methodist Conference Home, Inc., a non-profit provider of quality housing and related services for seniors in the Mid Coast for more than 30 years.
