Hope
Hope is a town in Knox County, settled in 1782 and incorporated on February 7, 1843 from Barretstown Plantation.
Located just northwest of Camden on Maine Routes 105 and 235, Hope has a cluster of lakes and ponds attractive to summer vacationers.
The town's population grew nearly 29 percent in the 1990-2000 decade and has nearly doubled in the past twenty years.
